Everyday MOMents – cover reveal!
We all know the age-old adage, “Don’t judge a book by its cover” … but statistics show that readers indeed do make decisions about which books to read based on the cover image. That’s why I’m thrilled that the cover for Everyday MOMents turned out so beautifully!
And I get to share it with you today!
Today marks exactly two months until the book release!!! Yes, Everyday MOMents will be available to purchase on March 8, 2016!
This journey began so long ago that it seems surreal that I’ll actually be able to cradle my book baby soon. Everyday I’m seeing bits of the process come together – fellow mama bloggers are agreeing to read and review it, editors are polishing the words, I’m receiving endorsements from beautiful souls and I get to approve layout/design work. It’s a blast!
Ok, ok, I know you came here to see the cover so ………….
Scroll a little more, just to add suspense ……
Drumroll ………………..
I am in love.
The amazing artist, Katie m. Berggren painted the custom, original image specifically for Everyday MOMents! It’s full of symbolism and beauty. The mama and her littles represent me and my trio, and I’ll share more about the deeper meaning behind the art in a future post. (Check out more of Katie’s amazing artwork here!) I’m adoring the colors, the movement and the texture … It makes me feel empowered and inspired – and it ups my desire to be that kind of mother!
But right this second, I’m dying to know: What do YOU think of the cover!?!?!
Love it!! I can’t wait till March 8th!
It’s so beautiful and happy!
It a lovely in every way, Jessica! Congratulations!! Xox
the colors!!!! and the embrace of a mother around those three jewels!! and to be more than honest…i love seeing the dark hair and warm skin rather than all the blonde that permeates our culture and world 😉 <–spoken by a true highlighted blonde 🙂
Ha ha! LOVE the honesty! When I first saw the painting, I was surprised to see the skin tone because I’m extremely pale … but I too adore how welcoming the warmth is. 🙂
It is beautiful, a mom enjoying her role in life, and yes I would be inspired to read it because of its cover!
Yay! So glad to hear that, Amber. Thank you!!
Beautiful! The artist especially captured each of your girls’ special countenance. I immediately knew who was who! 🙂
I like the colors as well. The look of the book makes me think of earth, being grounded, real and authentic. Love the play on words MOMent. Looks like a great book to read for a devotion in the morning.
Yes, Danielle – being grounded and authentic in our mothering is crucial. I hadn’t seen the image in that light before. Thank you for sharing!!
Thank you, Danielle! I appreciate our feedback and support!
Jessica, Cedar Fort took the painting and created such a beautiful cover with it! Congratulations! It has been a pleasure working with you and I hope it continues 😉 Love, Katie
